It’s a common question that happens more than I would like to admit.  Often we have to prepare our buyers for the possibility that the seller is not as motivated to sell the home via short sale as the rest of the parties in the transaction.  We have one word for this as it relates to the seller.  QUITTING.  Quitting, running from the problem doesn’t make it go away, in fact, it’ll make matters worse.  In many cases, the stress and the frustration of dealing with a short sale can be overwhelming.  However, quitting is still unacceptable, because too often both buyers and sellers alike will quit not only too soon, but right at the finish line.
